BRETT SAKS FOUNDATION SAFETY FESTIVAL

The Friedl Richardson team is excited to be one of the sponsors for the Brett Saks Foundation Safety Festival, this Sunday September 30th. The safety festival will include activities ranging from bicycle safety information, family friendly bike rides, a BMX show, a Battle of the Bands and information on holistic medicine as an alternative to sleeping pills.

We are looking forward to this great event and hope to see you there – be sure to stop by our booth and say hello from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm.

In case you aren’t familiar, Kim Saks founded the Brett Saks Foundation to honor her late husband who was killed, while training on his bike, by a motorist under the influence of sleeping pills. Kim’s wish is for the foundation is to fulfill Brett’s dream of helping disabled cyclists.

Brett once raised $10,000 for challenged athletes while participating in a 600-mile charity bike ride from San Francisco to San Diego. Brett wrote a personal retrospective in 2007 on the Qualcomm Million Dollar Challenge .
